We continue to support the adult section of the Rugby Art Gallery Open Exhibition. This annual exhibition brings together a range of high quality contemporary art from emerging and established artists in the local area in painting, print, textiles, sculpture and new media. Artists are invited to submit up to three pieces which are then selected by an independent panel of judges for the exhibition.
Our own selection panel, led by our Chair Sandra Bevan, spent an enthralling afternoon viewing the exhibits before selecting Annie Zaneboni’s pottery entitled "After Matisse 2" as the winner of the Arts Society Rugby trophy and a cheque for £50. Annie's winning piece is pictured here.
The exhibition runs from 30 November 2024 to 20 February 2025 and is well worth a visit.
